NSW 49er / 49er FX Development Program

Australian 9er and NSW 9er association in conjunction with Woollahra Sailing Club will be conducting an fifteen week training program for sailors who are looking to transitions into the 49er / 49erFX.

The training program is 100 % fund by the Australian 9er, NSW 9er and Woollahra Sailing Club and we are asking for interested sailors to apply.

We will assess each sailor based upon the below criteria and availability.

• Purchase and maintain 49erFX – 49er
• Attend all 9er State and National regattas
• 90% Attendance at all training and club racing events
• Not currently involved in an Australia Sailing or State fund Development Program
• Member of State and National 9er Association
• Active Member of an Australia sailing Club
• Has the skills to sail a 49erFX – 49er
• Available to coach 29er Sailors at their local 9er club
• Available for 49erFX – 49er promote days ( 1 day for each boat)
