The Australian 9er Class Association operates for the benefit of those members either sailing or interested in sailing the 29er, 49er FX, or 49er. The Association is run by parents of sailors and those interested in the class.
For some young sailors and parents this may be their first double hander experience. “Who pays for what?” looks at some ways double hander sailing may be financed. Whilst this isn’t a comprehensive double hander financing guide it touches on a few alternatives as there is no one way.
Financial Association members are able to participate in the class coaching programs and enter any class affiliated regattas such as Local, State, National and World Championships.
