We are very excited to announce the launch of the Australia 9er Development Program in conjunction with the State Associations and Local 9er Clubs.
The program aims to develop the 29er, 49er and 49erFX classes in Australia by supporting State Associations and Local Clubs.
Our first initiative is a 49er/49erFX fully funded training program in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. The training program will run for fifteen weeks to develop skills to compete at Club, State and National levels.
We invite sailors who are currently sailing 49er / 49erFX or interested in sailing 49er/FX to join the fifteen-week training program.
49er/FX development program is an excellent opportunity for sailors that have exited Youth Classes and still want to compete at Club, State and National levels. The training program will be located at one club in each state and encourage sailors to build a 49er/FX sailing community that encourages Fun, Sailing Fast and Camaraderie.
